Columbia Sportswear is taking us far in to the galaxy. They announced the release of a new collection with themes from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
Last year, was released their “Echo Base” collection consisting of three unique Hoth-inspired jackets as worn by Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo. And, thanks to the long lasting collaboration between the brand and Lucasfilm, fans one more time have chance to own a unique piece inspired by the Star Wars franchise.
The pieces are waterproof, in breathable shell that incorporates from the brand’s Omni Heat™ lining. Plus, adding another 200g of insulation and a removable fur-lined hood that will “keep you as warm as a Wookiee.”
The pieces will be available for $500 USD at select Columbia Sportswear brand stores. Some stores will also be selling the jackets signed by Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, for roughly $1,980 USD each with proceeds going to local charities.
