After the whole world encounter his name, graffiti artist D*Face a while ago decided to launch his first solo show in Seattle. The show was entitled as “Home Is Where the heART Is”, where the artist presented both, his new and old work, including his omnipresent portrayals of Marilyn Monroe and Queen Elizabeth II. Additional spotlight were his pieces, part of the series named “D*Dog” where the main characters were different types of skeletons.

“I wanted to combat the idea that nostalgia is the enemy of progress. Appropriately applied past experience can be one of the most useful tools a person has, and personally I’ve always been a ‘don’t fix what ain’t broke’ kinda guy anyway.” – said the artist in regards to the show.
