ELLA and PITR “Comme des fourmis”

ELLA & PITR, French duo, since 2007, are sharing their life and their artistic career together. After unexpected meeting in a street art fair they are rarely apart. They combine and share their love story and artistic adventure. Together they have painted walls, floors, and roofs all over the world displaying characters out of the ordinary such as colossi asleep, big birds with heavy wings, ogres, facetious old men, women with beards, stones bearers … This type of their unusual art can be found in their serigraphs, anamorphoses, and on billboards.
If in their artwork a comical themes, humor and poetry are often represented. This unique and extremely special artistic universe has touched those from all walks of life as you will discover in the texts written throughout this book.
